Entering Argentina with your medications

A traveler may enter Argentina carrying medications for personal use, but customs authorities may request the medical prescription and treatment for them. The amount of medications to be introduced must be proportional to the length of stay in Argentina.

Visas: general guidelines

US citizens do not require a visa to enter Argentina as tourists for a stay of up to three months. The Consulate issues visas to foreign citizens who need them according to the activities they will perform in Argentina.
