Payment methods

At the Argentine Consulate in Los Angeles, payments for procedures can be made in two ways: money order or Posnet (detailed below).

Payment by Money Order

All procedures can be paid using a money order made out to “Consulate of Argentina”. Money orders can be purchased at 7-Eleven, post offices, supermarkets, or banks. There is a 7-Eleven store and a post office near the Consulate, but money orders purchased from other locations are equally acceptable. For procedures by mail, money orders are the only option.

Payment by Bank Card (Debit or Credit)

For in-person procedures, payment can be made via the Consulate's Posnet machines using debit or credit cards.

Operational Cost Notice

Both payment methods include a small transaction fee. The final amount paid is the consular fee plus the payment gateway fee.
