2. Passport and U.S. visa or U.S. Green Card (no Argentine visa required), only if you hold a U.S. visa of type B2 / J / B1 / O / P (P1-P2-P3) / E / H-1B, or a U.S. Green Card, and you hold a passport and nationality from one of the following countries:
- DOMINICAN REP.
- INDIA
- P. R. OF CHINA
Notes: Your U.S. visa or Green Card must be valid for the entire period of stay in Argentina. The Green Card extension known as Form I-797 does not qualify for this exemption. Dependent visa categories corresponding to the visa types listed above (“family member”) do not qualify for this exemption.
3. You must obtain an AVE or a visa if you are not covered by sections 1 or 2, above.
You may apply for an AVE (Electronic Travel Authorization, processed online) if your passport is from one of the following countries: passports eligible to apply for an AVE.
If your passport is not on that list, apply for a consular visa (processed in person in Los Angeles).
